These terms outline what to expect during your stay and help us maintain clear expectations for everyone.
Prices and Taxes
Rates are subject to applicable taxes and fees. Prices may change based on demand and season, but your confirmed reservation rate is guaranteed. Total costs including taxes and fees will be disclosed at booking.
Payment and Check-in/Check-out
Major credit cards are accepted and required on file for incidentals. Check-in is 3 PM, check-out is 11 AM. Late checkout may be available upon request and subject to availability.
Traveling with Minors
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or travel with written parental consent. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors throughout the property.
Accessibility and Special Needs
We accommodate accessibility requests whenever possible. Please inform us of specific needs when booking so we can ensure appropriate room assignment and arrangements. Note that this is an older property with some inherent limitations.
Parking
Complimentary parking is provided for registered guests, one space per room, on a first-come, first-served basis. Overnight parking for non-guests is not permitted.
Hotel Events
The property occasionally hosts events that may generate noise. As we're located in a college town, some ambient activity should be expected. We'll provide advance notice of scheduled events when possible.
Dispute Resolution and Issues
Please bring concerns to management immediately so we can address them promptly. Any unresolved disputes will be governed by Florida state law and handled through appropriate local courts.
Use of Personal Information
We collect personal information necessary for service provision and legal compliance. Information is used solely for hotel operations, guest services, and required reporting. We do not sell guest information to third parties.
Liability
Gainesville Lodge maintains the property in reasonable condition and will address legitimate concerns promptly. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and should exercise standard precautions. The hotel's liability is limited to direct damages resulting from our negligence.
Force Majeure
The hotel is not liable for service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or government actions. We will work with guests to find reasonable solutions when such events occur.
Third Party Rights
These terms create obligations solely between Gainesville Lodge and registered guests. Third parties have no rights to enforce or benefit from these terms unless explicitly stated.
Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
Severance
If any portion of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
